Description
Created in collaboration with Chinese artist Jinya Zhao, the Uzlo sculpture is made by layering different pieces, creating an interplay between the radiance of glass and the opacity of leather.
Blown into custom molds, the glass pieces are mixed with pigment and then meticulously hand-polished with diamond tools to achieve a frosted appearance. Polène’s leather goods artisans cover the wooden pieces with leather before stitching the seams and painting the edges.
Limited edition of 150 pieces. Each piece comes with a numbered print of one of the artist’s watercolors. -
