In the vibrant Omotesando district sits Polène’s third boutique, a two-story site styled in collaboration with interior designer Valériane Lazard.

Featuring Japanese art and a nature-inspired contemporary design, the new space presents Polène’s collections in a refined, calm, and elegant atmosphere.

Polène’s commitment to savoir-faire is emphasized in the ancestral Japanese technique of Urushi lacquer. Meticulously applied by hand, this technique gives a smooth, glossy appearance to all the furniture, which take the shape of deep blue stones. A special hue developed for the custom-made leather seats.

With its glass panels designed by Atelier Barrois glassmakers, the staircase echoes flowing water. These same artisans also collaborated with designer Johan Viladrich to create a custom glass table that resembles ice.

Echoing the New York boutique, the house again pays tribute to the exceptional work of designer Jorge Penadés with a checkout counter made from compressed leather off-cuts.

The boutique’s interior draws inspiration from the outdoor world throughout, with its Japanese oak flooring, rounded pebble-shaped leather lighting and natural-toned walls.
