Polène is unveiling Boky, a new bag inspired by the form of a book. Its design features assembled pouches with folds resembling pages, and stitches evoking the craft of bookbinding. The twisted central fold, conjuring a delicately pleated page, is its signature. The name “Boky” is a reinterpretation of the English word, “book”.
Manual craftsmanship is apparent in every aspect of its creation: the side edges of the leather are hand-painted with a brush, while the twisted fold and ten stitches are completed by hand. To ensure the softness of the folds, the leather is thinned using a plate specially designed for this bag, achieving the perfect balance of structure and suppleness.

Imagined as a daily companion for every woman, Boky can shift from crossbody to shoulder bag with a simple strap adjustment. It adapts to the flow of the day to support free femininity, where every movement reveals an innate balance of practicality, elegance, and artisanal precision.

The campaign, shot by photographer Estelle Hanania, showcases the symmetry of the bag’s folds through subtle mirroring effects. Duos of bags and models interact in a play of poses that creates a striking harmony.
